She needs money. For herself and for the family she has bereaved, the church she ruined. And there’s more and more work every day for someone willing to use a sword…
The summers are hot, the winters are dry, the Vadisians chafe under the yoke of empire.
And something stirs in the cracked earth.

Connor Immonen is an artist based in Vancouver with his partner (his self proclaimed “editorial bonobo”) and their sweet but stupid cat.

By day he’s a metal trades apprentice. The comic grew out of a love of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and he fences on the regular with everything from swords to sticks to butter knives.
